Once you get your MLM business going, youll start sponsoring and working with your new downline team. Realistically, we know that everyone you sponsor will not rise above the pack and become a MLM leader. So, the question is, how can you figure out who really wants to learn and become a leader in MLM? If you ask your new MLM downline associates Would you like to become a leader and build your MLM business big?, most would probably say YES! How do you know who is both serious AND ready to lead, and who isn’t?
I heard a good tip once that has stuck with me. Some in your downline will be in I wish mode and not quite ready to break out right now, but their time may come later on.
Here is one simple way to help identify those who are ready to become successful leaders in your group.
Get your hands on a really good book that teaches principles that are important to success in network marketing and MLM. There are many good choices ask your upline leaders what they recommend.
Choose a downline associate who has indicated a strong interest in developing a successful MLM business. Ask them to obtain a copy of the book and read it. Tell them you will follow up in a week to discuss how the principles in the book can help them build a profitable business. Be sure you have read and started to apply the principles in the book to your own MLM business.
If your downline associate takes the book are reads it, you may have a future leader on your hands! This is a good indicator that this associate is willing to put in the time and effort necessary to become a leader. Work with this person closely.
If they show little interest in reading the book or put it off, perhaps the time is just not right for them. Dont’ give up on them at this point, just understand that people will develop into leaders on their own timetable, not ours.
When I first started in MLM, two classic books were recommended to me. One of them was The Science of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles. First written way back in 1910, this book is considered timeless and I have seen a number of network marketing leaders recommend it to their downline. Another one is the all time classic Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.
The principles in these books have stood the test of time, and are good resources for anyone seeking to learn how to make money and enjoy success in MLM and network marketing. Both are available online free (or for a minimal cost) and should be part of everyone’s success library.
What Does The Top MLM Leaders Have In Common?
The funny thing is that if you look within your primary business plus you examine the MLM leaders within your main enterprise, you would recognize that they are so diverse. Some MLM leaders are very charismatic. As in they are always laughing plus always joking around. Some leaders are very reserved. They do not even speak that much whenever you meet them personally. Does that mean that anyone can become MLM leaders in this industry or there are some things that they really have in common?
When I am referring to Network marketing Leaders, understand that I am referring to the one earning money within the MLM industry. NO, I’m not referring to the talkers. I am talking about the doers. I’m not discussing the one that do an excellent job of management. I am discussing the leaders that are chatting the converse and walking the walk. I’m referring to the leaders that are the top personal recruiters in their organization.
You will find the MLM leaders that you see on the stage. These are the ones that do the trainings within the international events. Those are one type of Leaders. Another type is those you don’t even know their name simply because they are not that popular outside their region. In many cases, the non-popular ones actually make more money compared to MLM leaders that you see on the stage. What exactly do these people have in common?
All types of MLM leaders recognize that Network marketing is a numbers game. Some folks don’t really understand what that statement means. You’re supposed to value every single prospect that you talk to. So I am not saying treat them with little regard. On the other hand, you need to go through the number very fast. These guys are leaders because they have received far more No’s than you. The fact still remains that many will not join your enterprise business. Go through the list fast. Spend 1 minute with 100 people each instead of 100minute with 1 person.
MLM leaders are fishers. I’m not a great fisher but I can certainly tell you that when you fish, you put your hook within the water. This folks do not go around chasing anyone. Actually, you need to qualify for their time before they discuss the enterprise business with you. They simply strategically position themselves as leader and attract qualified prospects that way. It doesn’t make sense to be begging anyone to earn money with you. When you do that, you lose your posture which happens to be extremely important.
